Giai My equips woodworking machine technologies to ensure high precision with good production speed. Our production process complies with the most stringent wood manufacturing regulations imposed in the United States, consisting of 4 parts:

For the preparation of an effective production schedule, the following should be developed:

  • Production database (i.e type of materials, finishes, dimensions, etc.)
  • Detailed drawings
  • Installation schedule
  • Sample approval

STEP 1: CUT THE PANEL

We use CNC cutting machine for better dimensional accuracy. Measurements should be taken to ensure dimensions, positions of openings, and alignment are within the specified tolerances.

Cutting the entire large board into small pieces. The most commonly used boards for box fabrication include Plywood, Partical Board, or Veneer. There is a standard for the size of such large boards used to build a cabinet, which is generally 2440*1220mm.

STEP 2: GROOVE

Some panels need to go through the grooving process in the corresponding position. Because almost all the current manufacturing processes to build cabinets are to clamp the back panel with the side panels and the bottom panels.

STEP 3: PRE-DRILL THE HOLE

So it also needs to drill relevant holes on some panels by drilling machine.

STEP 4: EDGE BANDING

Automatic Edge banding machine – to band the exposed edges.

This is the process of covering the raw edges of wood panels with a thin strip of wood used to reduce the effects of atmospheric humidity and aesthetically pleasing trim edges during finish carpentry. Except for the back panels, all most all other panels need to band edges.

So this step is an important process in cabinet making. The edge banding process can appropriately improve the appearance of the cabinet. Besides, banded edges can effectively avoid damaging the corners during transportation and use, and peeling off the veneer of the cabinet. At the same time, it can play a role in waterproofing, reducing the release of harmful gases and reducing deformation.

We can band edge materials like PVC, melamine, wood veneer, etc.

STEP 5: UV COATING

The UV finish is operated by our UV coating line to help coat the board with UV coats effectively brings the following advantages:

  • Plenty of glosses and colors to choose from.
  • Resistant to water, dents, heat, and scratches and thus UV is highly durable

STEP 1: CUT AND GROOVE

This process is like the cutting wood material process of the cabinet box part.

We use equipment to make exacting grooves and always run the test piece through to ensure that it goes on easily without forcing it, and without being loose. So we are confident that we would get the perfectly sized groove, dead center.

STEP 2: MAKE JOINT STRUCTURE

With the grooves done, it’s time to move into joining timber. One of the most potent methods known, to join two pieces of wood, is making a tenon joint which is almost always achieved at a 90° angle.

STEP 3: PRE-DRILL THE HOLE

STEP 4: ASSEMBLE

We use assembling machines for cabinet door and face frame assembling that allow High precision, High efficiency as well as strict safety protection for humans and machines.

STEP 5: SAND POLISHING

The sand polishing operation consists in recovering the initial appearance and shine of a surface by getting the best wood finishes. We have both Sanding by hand and by Automatic Sanding Machine.

STEP 6: PAINTING

Different treatments can be added to improve insulation, beauty, coloring, or resistance to fire or humidity. In the manufacturing process, surface finishing is a very important step. It can improve the appearance of a product, improve its mechanical, chemical, and electrical properties, and make it more resistant to wear and tear.

UV coating line: Ultraviolet (UV) line machine is used for the application of the base coat to finish coat in a single cycle.

INSPECTION

Visual quality control checks on the quality of the finishes.

Our expert technicians test Assembly for the components and accessories of every SKU at our warehouse before packing and shipping. Each element is inspected for quality as they come together and make sure all the elements of the cabinet and accessories match and run smoothly.
